Ordering spare parts:
- This catalogue should be used only when ordering spare parts from authorized Kalmar dealers.
By using this catalogue, you will give the dealer the exact information on the spare parts you wish
to order, thus speeding-up the deliveries. - The spare parts are reproduced on the illustration page in plan drawings or exploded views and are
specified in more detail on the accompanying text page. Each illustration page contains
illustration No. and fig. No., and in addition the text page states group No., part No., quantity etc. Each group has
its own pagination indicated by the group index located in the beginning of the group. The group
pagination is given on the flyleaf.
When ordering spare parts, the following points should be carefully observed:
2. When uncertain of part No. please also state the machine type designation, serial No., engine
No. and gear box No. as well as any unit numbers and special model numbers.
This information may be found on the type, engine and gear box plates. Also state the issue No. of
the spare parts catalogue. If necessary state illustration No. and fig. No.
- The catalogue is divided into main groups in accordance with the flyleaf at the beginning of the catalogue.
The master catalogues list a large amount of optional equipment. This is why great emphasis is placed
on studying the machine card which accompanies delivery of the truck at the time of ordering. (Check
what should be known about the Machine Card). - Orders by letter or fax must include the following information and preferably be set out according to the
example below.
1. Group No. specifies the machine part or equipment concerned.
2. Section heading in Swedish and English.
3. Consecutive page numbers within each group.
4. Figure No. states the correlation between text and illustration.
5. The quantity specifies the quantity of a certain part, included in the section heading.
6. Part No. for the specific item. Specified with spare parts ordering.
7. Description columns, in Swedish and English, specify the description of the separate parts.
To be used when ordering spare parts. If a part is included in a larger unit, it is displaced to the right
below the name of the complete unit and is preceded by one or more “level dots”. When a complete
unit is ordered, all parts displaced to the right immediately below it, are included.
8. The comments column, apart from page references, contains various types of explanatory notes. Comments that cannot be printed due to space limitations, are marked here with numbers 1), 2), 3) etc. and their footnotes can be found farthest down on the text page. There are also abbreviations, see page 3.
