About the maintenance manual:
General:

Thank you for choosing STILL as your machine supplier. We hope that we’ll meet your expectations.
The maintenance manual contains information on how the machine must be maintained for maximum
operational safety and service life as well as troubleshooting information for quickly remedying
any faults.

Maintenance manual, introduction:

The maintenance manual is principally divided into function groups, see Maintenance manual, purpose
page 3. Certain sections are sep- arated to increase ease of use, e.g. “Preventive maintenance”.
The basic rule for searching information is to use the function groups to find different types of
information concerning the function or component in question.

Function group itemisation:

• The function group itemisation is common for all machines from STILL, down to second figure heading
  level. Adaptations of the func- tion groups unique to the machine are made at third and fourth
  group level.
• This means that certain headings (function groups) will be left out in the documentation for some
  machines as the machine does not have the function in question. This means that there can be gaps
  in the function group numbering.
• References between the manual types are used as the different manual types have different purposes
  and therefore different infor- mation content.

Conditions:

• The instructions are based on use of tools generally available com- mercially. Special tools are
  specified where appropriate. All lifting devices, such as straps, slings, ratchet blocks etc., must
  comply with national regulations in force for lifting devices.
• STILL will not accept any responsibility for machine modifications without permission from STILL.
  Further, STILL will not accept any re- sponsibility if other lifting devices, tools or work methods
  are used other than those described in this manual.
