INTRODUCTION:

• This is a fully hydraulic crawler crane.
• The crane’s engine drives into a two-shafted power divider. A pair of plunger-type main hydraulic pumps is mounted
  on one shaft, while another plunger-type main hydraulic pump shares the other drive shaft with a pair of tandemmounted gear-type hydraulic pumps.
• The oil flow from the pair of tandem-mounted plunger pumps is directed by 2 control valves to drive the right and left
  propel motors, the boom drum motor, the front and rear drum motors as well as a third (optional) drum motor.
• The front, rear and third drum motors drive into reduction gear units which are mounted on their respective drum
  shafts. When their clutches are engaged, these motors drive the drums to raise or lower loads.
• The boom drum motor drives into the reduction gear unit mounted on the shaft of the boom drum.
  As directed, the boom can be raised, lowered or maintained in a steady position.
  The right and left propel motors drive into reduction units which power the drive tumblers which ultimately move the
  crawler assemblies.
• The solo plunger-type motor powers the swing system and the crawler extension/retraction cylinder. The swing motor
  drives into a reduction unit which slews the crane’s upper section.
• The larger of the two tandem-mounted gear-type pumps supplies pressurized oil to the control valves and positive
  brakes. When the operator shifts the control levers located in the cab, the control valve spools, the clutches and the
  negative brakes are all maniuplated by pressurized oil.
• The remaining gear pump supplies pressurized oil to operate the gantry raising cylinder as well as to power the
  (optional) tagline drum.
