• This Service Manual is intended to assist and instruct experienced construction machinery service engineers to carry out repairs and adjustments to our machines. The working procedures and technical descriptions contained in this manual are explicitly written so that the disassembling and reassembling of the various components, also the carrying out of adjustments to these components, can be completed without any difficulty. These working procedures and technical descriptions are supported by appropriate photographs, illustrations and drawings.
• The service engineer should possess a fundamental knowledge in the operation and repair of construction machinery and, if possible. should attend a seminar at our training centre before attempting to diagnose defects and before attempting to tackle the not so simple repair and adjustment work. It should also be obvious to him that the special service tools which are available. from us must be used whenever their use is recommended or necessary.
• As a supplement to this manual, we recommend the Service Training and Workshop Handbook for the machine in question or the appropriate microfiche. This Service Training and Workshop Handbook principly contains construction and functional descriptions, adjustment and technical data, electrical wiring and other circuit diagrams etc. (for availabilty, see the latest issue of the Technical Literature List in the PSK microfiche).
• All technical data, descriptions, photographs and drawings are valid at the time of this manual going to press and do not claim to be entire as far as the various equipment possibilities are concerned.
