• Тhе МСМ range of thyristor controllers use adv~ced microprocessor technology, combined with
  Sevcon’s leadership in power electronics, to provide the most advanced D.C. traction controller family
  availaЫe.
• The use of microprocessor and digital techniques gives improved accuracy and drift free performance,
  which together with Sevcon’s revolutionary Personality Editor replaces а11 setting up potentiometers
  and allows а11 adjustments to Ье made Ьу the operator from the normal driving position.
• Тhе МСМ has many extra features in addition to those found on the standard range of controllers;
  the optional Display Head with the МСМ functions as а Battery Discharge Indicator (BDI), an Hours
  Counter and а Fault Indicator. Тhis unit is also used when adjusting the controller settings and as
  an indicator for the powerful fault diagnostics.
• А complete traction system controller is provided in one package.
  Operator safety has been of paramount importance in the design of the МСМ. Powerful fault diagnostics
  have Ьееn incorporated which, upon detecting а serious fault, cause the controller to shutdown in а safe and orderly manner. Тhе Display Unit assists diagnosis of faults.
• Тhе МСМ may Ье configured as either а regen or а plugging controller. The plugging version of
  the controller is availaЫe in Ьoth single and parallel twin motor versions.
