This Parts Book lists only engine parts. Those parts mounting the engine on the chassis are listed in the Chassis volume. When ordering parts, please give also the following information.

Machine Serial No., Engine Serial No. and Hours on Service Meter
Parts are listed in the following way:

Part name

Parts constituting an assembly have a ( • ) mark before the part name, and is listed after the name of the assembly. When the part constitutes a sub-assembly a ( • • ) mark precedes the part name.

Quantity of parts
The quantity of a part needed for one machine is listed. In the case of parts constituting an assembly, the quantity needed for one assembly is listed. And code “AR” denote the part (for instance shim) to be ordered as required. The applicable engine type for each part is given ( ). If no type is given, all engines are
applicable.

Interchangeability The meansing of interchangeability codes
A. Interchangeable
B. Not interchangeable
C. New parts can replace old parts, but not the reverse
D. Discontinued

Column of remarks

When parts have been changed, the Serial Numbers (engine Serial Numbers) of the
applicable machine and the date of change are indicated in the Remarks column. Blank column
indicates no changes.

A component part of a kit.
Component parts and part numbers of the kit will be enumerated in the service kit table.
Part listed is not supplied as an independent machine part, but as the assembly containing the
part.
