Maintenance instructions:

This Maintenance Manual is intended for the service personnel. It contains no descriptions or instructions
for repair work. For repairs please see the Repair Manual intended for the qualified repair personnel
(e.g. Krupp Service Centres).
Look after your crane and maintain it regularly and meticulously so that it is available for use when you
need it. This will also increase its life.
Please note that the warranty provided for the truck crane by Krupp lndustrietechnik GmbH, Truck
Cranes Division, can only be upheld if:
– the truck crane is only used for the purpose for which it is intended,
– the truck crane is serviced and maintained in accordance with the instructions,
– repairs to the truck crane are carried out in accordance with professional standards.
Damage and breakdowns are often caused by lack of maintenance, for example:
– insufficient oil, grease or antifreeze,
-dirt,
– damaged or worn ropes,
-faults in the hydraulic system,
– damaged hoses or loose couplings,
– brakes which are not in working order,
– damaged or worn tyres or wheel rims.
For your own safety as well as for the safety of others, ensure that care and maintenance work is carried
out meticulously and at the stipulated intervals. Never postpone necessary maintenance or repairs.
If repairs are necessary please inform the Krupp Service Centre or your qualified repair
personnel immediately. Note that this work may only be carried out by properly qualified and trained
personnel.
