Every effort has been made in the design of the Land-Rover to r·educe the amount of attention which the owner must devote to upkeep; this manual provides all the information necessary for periodic maintenance attention.

• All models at’e very simila1 in design, differ·ences being noted at appropriate points in the text For ease of· reference, the manual is divided into thr·ee distinct sections :- Section А describes the driving controls and includes general info:i:mation to assist in operating the vehicle to the best advantage.
• Section В deals with a!l the maintenance items. Section С gives details of the facilities offered Ьу our Service Department. Although the instructions have been maat:” as simple and clear as possiЬle, there тау Ье occasions when the owner finds himself in some difficulty, in which case reference should Ье made either to а Rover distributor ох· dealer or direct to ош· Service Depattment (see Section С).
• It is we!l to read this book carefully on receipt of the vehicle, particular attention being paid to the running-in insttuctions on Page Е-18.
