Foreword

This operating manual has been written for the machine operator and for the maintenance personnel of the machine.
It contains:
-the Technical data.
-the Safety regulations.
-the Operating instructions.
-the Maintenance instructions.
Before initial operation and at regular subsequent intervals, the operating manual must be carefully read and observed by all persons who carry out work with or on the machine.
Working with or on the machine includes, for example:
— Operation including setting up or equipping, rectifying malfunctions during the
course of work, resolving output reductions, care, disposal of operating and serv-
ice materials.
= Service, including maintenance, inspection and repair work.
— Transportationor loading of the machine.
The operating manual allows the machine operator to familiarize himself with the ma-
chine more easily and prevents problems due to improper operation.
The observance of the operating and maintenance instructions by maintenance per-
sonnel:
— increases reliability in use.
— extends the service life of your machine.
— reduces repair costs and downtime.
The operating manual is part of the machine. Ensure that one copy is always
kept in the storage compartment in the driver’s cab.
The operating and maintenance manual should also incorporate information regarding current national regulations for accident prevention and protection. In addition to the operating instructions and the legally binding regulations on accident prevention valid in the user country and the job site, the recognized specialized technical regulations for safe and correct working procedures must also be observed.
