Service Manual 
General operating instructions:
Gearshifting and operation off lock is effected by dog type clutches and hence gearshifting
should only be undertaken with the vehicle stationary. Very occasionally the teeth on the
selector sleeve and gear may be directly in line thereby preventing engagement. In this situation
the vehicle should be moved as slowly as possible at low enggine revs until engagement
occurs.

• The differential pawl must only be used in case of lacking traction. Use it only for a short period. Use on nonskid ground and in case of turning curves may quickly lead to damages because of restraints arising.
• Towing the vehicle in neutral position of the power divider is only allowed for a short time and only in case of slow travelling speed, but by no means over longer distances!
  (max.travelling distance of 30 km with max.speed of 30 km/h allowed)
• In case of standstill of feed shaft the lube oil pump in the power divider doesn’t work. Danger of failure because of insufficient lubrication.
• Avoid longer reverse travelling: (lube oil pump in the power divider doesn’t work!)
