Preface:

This parts manual contains the service parts used in the LX excavators. Refer to the “Engine parts
manual” issued separately for the engine service parts.

Only genuine “Link–Belt” parts and lubricants are recommended for service needs. The use of high
quality genuine “Link–Belt” parts maintains your machine warranty.
I. Excavator Identification
A. Find the serial number plate located at the front of the machine on the right side of the operator’s
cab platform (1). Write the following in the spaces below: The model number, serial number and
manufacturer’s number of your excavator.
B. In the event the serial number plate is not readable, the manufacturer’s number (2) is stamped on
the upper revolving frame which can be used to identify the machine.

How to order parts:
A. When placing a parts order, always supply your authorized LBX Link–Belt distributor with the
model number, serial number, manufacturer’s number of your excavator, and the part number
and quantity of parts you are ordering.
B. Illustrations in this manual are not necessarily an exact representation of the parts actual position
or shape.
C. Reference to the left or right side of the machine in this manual refers to the position when the
operator is sitting in the seat and facing forward with the undercarriage drive sprockets facing
towards the rear.
D. The parts or part numbers described in this manual may be changed (including option parts), or
deleted, without any prior notice.
