SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:

any air conditioning system, to prevent personal injury.
STEP: 1
Always wear safety goggles; liquid refrigerant can
cause serious eye injuries. If refrigerant gets in the
eyes:
a. Flush eyes with water for 15 minutes.
b. Seek medical attention immediately.
STEP: 2
Open fittings slowly and carefully, as refrigerant can cause frostbite. Seek medical attention immediately if contact is made between skin and refrigerant.
STEP: 3
Keep refrigerant containers in the upright position, and
STEP: 4
Always reclaim refrigerant from the air conditioning system when welding or steam cleaning near an air
conditioning system.
STEP: 5
Always check the temperature and pressure before reclaiming refrigerant or testing the system.
STEP: 6
Toxic fumes can form when refrigerant comes into contact with open flames. Do not allow the fumes to be
inhaled.
