INTRODUCTION :

This repair time schedule manual has been developed to help dealers operate their service shop on a competitive and profitable basis. It provides a means for computing job estimated and will serve as a guide in establishing fair prices for service work performed. This is extremely important to all of us, as service repair prices must be competitive just as new product prices must be competitive if we are to maintain our current customers and gain new ones. This manual also serves as the basis by which Massey Ferguson establishes its warranty labor obligation. Use job numbers when submitting your warranty claims.

• Time allowances in this manual were compiled through practical observation of work performed of average ability, using tools specified by AGCO Massey Ferguson. Mechanics observed had previous experience working on each job. Time included average time to procure and clean parts and obtain special service tools.
• High speed tools were used during these time studies. Any comments or suggestions on the time allowed should be made in writing by E mail or fax to AGCO Product Reliability. Please use job numbers when applicable. This manual covers class V I and V I I axial combines: Definitions of abbreviations: R & R- To remove and replace. To remove all necessary assemblies to gain access to part, to make all necessary adjustments. D & C – To disconnect and connect, as in hydraulic lines.
