1.1.1 Allocation of time:

• The times indicated in this document result from а careful study of the operation concerned; they represent the average time taken to саггу out the operation Ьу ONE mechanic with standard skills, having undergone the necessary training, using standard workshop tools and equipment located to allow reasonaЫe access and working conditions. They DO NOT INCLUDE traveling time to ог from the f arm or site.
• Th e times indicated take account of difficulties encountered when working оп used rather than new machines, and are based оп the special tools and procedures recommended Ьу Massey Ferguson and specified in the workshop manual. No роwег tools аге used and по shortcuts are taken. Th e times аге based оп а used machine, in а геаsоnаЫе condition and well maintained using approved parts.
• Additional time may Ье required to remove seized, rusted or damaged parts; а separate request must Ье submitted when work is carried out under warranty. А f actor h as been allowed in the operation times cited to prepare the tractor in the workshop, gather all the tools and parts required, and clean and test th e machine after repair. Th e time needed to remove and reinstall the implements fitted, such as loaders, h edge cutters etc. which hamper the execution of specific tasks IS NOT INCLUDED in the allocated time.

Special tools :

When an operation requires the use of а special tool, th is is indicated in th e relevant column of the repair time schedule. Th e required tools are listed and their usage is described in the relevant chapter of the Workshop Service Manual.
