Massey Ferguson SA MF5400 Series Workshop Manual – PDF DOWNLOAD

General:

  • БоггСсt control of the internal atmosphere of an agricultural tractor саЬ requires: – the temperature and humidity in the саЬ to Π¬Π΅ within the human comfort range, – the intake of Π° volume of fresh filtered Π°iΠ³ sufficient to put the саЬ under pressure and prevent impurities from entering, – the defrosting of windows to allow сlΠ΅Π°Π³ vision in all directions. ln addition, the distribution of air around the саЬ should prevent noticeaΠ«e temperature differences within the саЬ, especially around the operator.
  • Furthermore, the unit should Π¬Π΅ designed to withstand mechanical stress resulting from the many shocks and vibrations caused Π¬Ρƒ agricultural work. А final critical point concerns correct operation in the muddy ΠΎΠ³ dusty conditions typical of this work. Tractors must also Π¬Π΅ Π°Π«Π΅ to operate ΠΎΠΏ slopes of up to.

Air conditioning principle:

  • No known method exists for producing coldness; there is only Π° heat absorption procedure. The air conditioning process involves taking heat out of the air. Temperature is measured Π¬Ρƒ the amount of heat contained in Π° substance. ln the same way that water always flows downwards, heat always “flows” from Π° hot object to cold object.
  • Π’ΠΎ condition or Π°Π¬sΠΎΠ³Π¬ the air in Π° tractor саЬ, the warm Π°iΠ³ must Π¬Π΅ brought into contact with Π° cold surface. One of the physical properties of liquid is that it has Π° specific boiling and evaporating point at Π° given pressure. During the vaporisation process taking place at Π° constant temperature, liquid сап Π°Π¬sΠΎΠ³Π¬ Π° vast amount of heat. For example, under normal atmospheric pressure, water vaporises at 100 Β°Π‘.
  • Although the water сап Π°Π¬sΠΎΠ³Π¬ Π° large amount of heat, its temperature does not rise beyond this level. The same principle сап Π¬Π΅ applied when heat is withdrawn, causing gas to return to its liquid state, ΠΎΠ³ liquid to convert to its solid state. Therefore Π¬Ρƒ adjusting the pressures in Π° closed system, it is possiΠ«e, at one point in the system, to hold liquid at low pressure with Π° low boiling point. As it vaporises, this liquid сап Π°Π¬sΠΎΠ³Π¬ heat from its surrounding environment.

Air conditioning – General :

  • The air conditioning cycle Π‘Π°Π¬ Π°iΠ³ conditioning is ensured Π¬Ρƒ Π° ventilation system that oΠ¬tains filtered air heated Π¬Ρƒ the engine hot water channels when operating in cold weather. When high temperatures make operating conditions uncomfortaΠ«e, an air conditioning system allows the саЬ internal temperature to Π¬Π΅ reduced Π¬Ρƒ several degrees. ln an air conditioner, pressurised refrigerant (HFC) flows in Π° closed system: R134Π°. This gas is subjected to changes in pressure and temperature at specific locations in the system. А compressor driven Π¬Ρƒ the engine with Π° belt sucks in air and compresses the gaseous refrigerant, directing it to an exchanger called Π° condenser.
  • The air passing through the condenser cools and condenses the gaseous refrigerant. The dryer filters impurities and humidity from the refrigerant, which is now in liquid form. lt also acts as Π° temporary storage tank. The liquid refrigerant is directed under high pressure to the regulator which controls the fluid flow and causes Π° significant dΠ³ΠΎΡ€ in temperature and pressure.
  • When it enters the evaporator (exchanger in the саЬ), the fluid starts to evaporate as it absorbs heat from the air being pumped through Π¬Ρƒ the fan system. The warm air is cooled; its humidity condenses ΠΎΠΏ the evaporator and is discharged from the саЬ via pipework. The cycle restarts when the gas reaches the compressor. Depending ΠΎΠΏ the requested саЬ temperature, the control system (manual or electronic) causes the automatic clutching or declutching of the compressor via and electromagnetic clutch mechanism.
