INTRODUCTION:

The hydraulic system consists of two separate systems: a dual open-center system, and a closed-center system. Each system has its own pump, with oil supplied from a common reservoir. The open-center system uses a fixed-displacement double gear pump, making it effectively two subsystems driven by the same pump. The closed-center system uses a variable-displacement piston pump that is both flow- and pressure-compensated.

• Both pumps draw their supply through inline filter screens from the common hydraulic reservoir. All functions driven by the dual gear pump are controlled through a valve manifold utilizing solenoid-operated valves. Similarly. all functions supplied by the piston pump are controlled through a separate solenoid valve manifold.
• Filtered return lines from both manifolds pass through a return oil filter to the common hydraulic reservoir. The closed-center system includes an unfiltered return line. providing low-pressure return for some function.
