• Inspect the crankshaft Journals and crankpins: slight scoring or seizure marks can be removed with very fine grade emery cloth. ii scoring.
• Ovairty or taper exceeds 0.05 mm (0.tXJ197 in). the crankshaft will have to be reground. Measure Journal diameter to determine the nearest undersize. Altar rugrinding. restore the journal and crankpin rounds and fillets as shown in the details and check lhai:
• — main bearingjournal and crankpin ovality does not exceed 0.008 mm (0.000315 in}:
• — rnain bearing journal and crankpin taper does not exceed 0.01 mnr (0.000394 in):
