SERVICE
INFORMATION:

Tools Required:
• 10mm socket wrench
• 13mm socket wrench
• 15mm open end wrench
• 6mm Allen wrench
• Torque wrench
• Feeler gauges

Installation Procedure
Refer to Table 1 for item number references.
1. Move truck to a level surface and block drive tires.
2. Remove old brake assemblies (refer to applicable maintenance manual).
NOTE: C50 models may require removal of the traction motor or tilt cylinder to
gain necessary clearance for installation.
3. Install hub (item 2) onto motor shaft. Re-use existing key and spacer unless
damaged.
4. Install mounting plate (item 4) on motor (with 45° chamfer towards motor) with
qty. 3 mounting screws (item 7). Torque mounting screws to 18 ft. lb. (24 Nm).
5. Install rotor (item 3) on hub (item 2). Rotor should slide onto hub with minimal
force. If necessary, lightly tap rotor onto hub. Make sure rotor contacts mounting
plate.
CAUTION: Protect rotor so hammer does not contact it directly.
6. Position stator (item 5) on traction motor as shown in Figure 2. Install stator
onto mounting plate (item 4) with qty. 3 mounting screws (item 9). Torque
mounting screws to 18 ft. lb. (24 Nm).
7. Remove and discard the three blue plastic clips from the standoffs. See Figure 2.
