General product information
Speed optimisation
General
Function
- Speed optimisation is a software function provided by the truck control unit (FZS). This function reduces the driving speed of the industrial truck based on the lift height and the load that is being carried. In addition to the actual driving speed, the acceleration and deceleration of the industrial truck is also adjusted.
- For the side shift, swivelling and auxiliary lift functions, the end position damping is initiated earlier as the lift height increases and the function is started more gently. Because each industrial truck can have different dimensions, individual characteristics must be calculated for each industrial truck.
- This is done using the software for the truck configuration. The resulting corners P1-P6 are important for the stability of the industrial truck. The corners are stored in the FZS.
The following factors are important for the calculation:
? Battery type
? Maximum load capacity
? Dimensions of the turret head
? Maximum shifting depth
? Maximum lift height of the main lift
? Maximum lift height of the auxiliary lift
? Overall height of the industrial truck
? Width of the load wheel axle
? Mechanical rail guidance or inductive guidance
? Version of the drive unit
The different variants of the speed optimisation
depend on the truck sensor system and the options
that have been activated in the FZS.
Speed optimisation is available in the following
variants.
