Preface (For main parts)
♦ This parts manual contains the service main parts used in the hydraulic excavator.
Refer to the “Engine parts manual” issued separately for the engine service parts.
♦ The reference to “right-hand” and “left-hand” in the manual is defined by the operator sitting in the position
for proper operation when the track idler is located front.
♦ Use “Sumitomo’s parts” in the Sumitomo’s hydraulic excavator, which are of high quality and best suited to the
products.
Ⅰ. How to order the parts.
1. When ordering, specify clearly “Machine model, Machine serial No., Part No., Part name and Quantity
required”.
It will be convenient to you, if you enter your Machine model, Machine serial No., Machine delivered year,
month and date to the form shown below beforehand.

2. Supply term of the service parts.
The term of the service part supply is ten (10) years after the discontinuation of the production for the
machine model.
But, even in the production period, it may happen to set the new delivery term in some cases. When any
service parts be required for the machine after the model production term is expired and be ordered, we will
accept the order subject to the delivery term and price required to the part production.
Ⅱ. Notes.
1. As the illustrations provided in this manual are for reference only since the position • shape of the respective
part are shown in proper relation to each other without any hindrance for placing order, refrain from using
them only with this manual for the maintenance work of the excavator.
2. Changes to the product may make it necessary to revise or add pages to this manual, for which
announcement will be followed.
3. The parts described in this manual will be changed (including changes in the option), or deleted, without
any prior notice.
