PREPARATION

OPERATOR INFORMATION

• Read & understand this manual & the CIMA safety manual before operating

DAILY WALK-AROUND INSPECTION

• Check hydraulic oil reservoir, maintain level 3″ from top
• Check tire pressure, 10 psi minimum, 25 psi maximum
• Check tires tor severe cuts
• Check for loose fittings, fasteners, covers and guards
• Check for oil and fuel leaks
• Check the indicator on the hydraulic system filter tor possible Arrange tor change out of hydraulic filters every 250 hours or when restricted.
• check engine oil level

START UP

• Use caution when adding fuel to hot engine
• Ensure adequate ventilation to protect yourself and others from exhaust

emissions.

• Check lever on operator’s left This lever must be in neutral, or center position, before starting engine.
• Look for vehicle creep after starting As hydraulic system increases to operating pressure the parking brakes automatically release. Service braking remains only when the left hand control lever is in neutral or center positon. While moving, to apply the service brakes, move left hand control lever to neutral or center position.
• Operate steering and slowly engage and disengage left hand control lever to test acceleration and braking

RECOMMENDED OPERATING PRACTICE

This freewheeling is activated by reversing the plates located on the outside center of each hub. The small protrusions on these plates. when facing inwards and bolted to the hub, engage the freewheeling.
