• Keying circuitry is included within the Swan Transceivers to control the operation of Swan 12002 and 15002 Linear Amplifiers. Linear amplifiers from other manufacturers can be controlled directly provided that the amplifier keyline provides a positive voltage of not more than 200 volts and requires not more than 200 milliamperes to actuate.
• Amplifiers requiring control of a negative voltage, voltages or currents higher than the above values, or metallic contact switching can be accommodated with ~ an external relay between the Swan Transceiver and the other make linear amplifier.
• I The external relay should have its coil connected between the transceiver power supply and the transceiver EXT RLY (102) or LINEAR (150/151) jacks. A relay with a nominal 12 Volt coil is required such as the Swan 111-015 or equivalent.
