This repair manual has been prepared to cover the Model AR-250E all terrain cranes.

• The specification No. of the cranes to which this manual is applicable are shown below. Check the specification No. of your crane on the nameplate on the crane. The outline specifications for the respective specification Nos. are listed on the next page.
• When undertaking the repair work, refer also to the separate “GENERAL CAUTIONS”, parts catalog, operation and maintenance manual, and other relevant documents. For information on the carrier, refer to the carrier manual.

The installation locations of the main parts of the systern are illustrated.
• GENERAL
The functions of the main components of the systern and the operation of the system are described. The systern operation should be read in conjunction with the circuit diagrams given in Chapter Z.
• MAIN COMPONENTS
CONSTRUCTION AND FUNCTIONS
The construction drawings and the basic functions are given. Where the screw tightening torque value is given in the construction drawing, strictly observe it in combination with the NOTES in DISASSEMBLY AND REASSEMBLY.
DISMOUNTING AND REMOUNTING
Notes on the dismounting and remounting processes are given for main parts. Where heavy objects are handled, select a suitable slinging device by ref erring to the WEIGHT TABLE in Chapter Y. For the adjustment and check procedures after the remounting, refer to the applicable ones among thecollective entry in Chapter Y.
DISASSEMBLY AND REASSEMBLY
No disassembly and reassernbly procedure is given for components of sirnple structure. Disassernble and reassemble these components by referring to the construction drawings and NOTES.
