FOREWORD :
- This service manual describes the composition of the Model TR-600EXL-3 rough terrain crane, its repair, checks, adjustment methods and other relevant matters.
- This manual applies to the cranes with the Spee. No. given below. Check the spec. No. of your crane in the nameplate on the crane. Read the separate operation and maintenance manual and the parts catalog for additional indispensable information on the crane in conjunction with this manual.
GENERAL OF HYDRAULIC PRESSURE GENERATING SYSTEM
• FUNCTIONS OF UNITS
1. Hydraulic pump
The crane has a 2-section variable displacement pump and a 2-section gear pump. Pump Pl supplies oil to the winch circuits. Pump P2 supplies .oil to the boom elevation, telescoping and winch circuits. ·Pump P3 supplies oil to the outrigger, steering and swing circuits. Pump P4 gives pilot pressure to winch brake, swing brake, etc., and supplies. oil to the oil cooler circuit.
2. Solenoid control valve
This valve switches over the outrigger circuit between extension and retraction by electric signals. The circuit pressure is controlled by the built-in relief valve (RV3).
3. Manual control valve
This valve is for controlling the boom elevation, boom telescoping, main winch and the auxiliary winch. The hydraulic pressuer for the boom elevation and boom telescoping circuits is controlled by the relief
valve (RV2) incorporated in this control valve, and that for the winch circuits is determined by the relief valve (RVl) incorporated in this control valve.
4. Rotary joint
The rotary joint provides the swivelling connection for the hydraulic circuits, electric circuits, and air circuits between the upper swing structure and the lower traveling structure, and allows the respective circuits to maintain their integrity at all swing positions.
5. Flow control valve
This valve controls the flow rate and the pressure level of the pump P4 circuit.
