On Use of Parts List:

In the parts list, there are provided illustrations showing outside views of various components used on machines mentioned on the top page, including exploded views of parts building up those components. Reference numbers put on each part with a draw line will aid you in finding part number, part name, and numbers. of such parts per one machine when ordering.

1.COMMENTS ON TERMS

(2) Part number “Part number” is the number used for identifying parts. In the column “part number,” various numbers other than a single part number, such as numbers for the component or assembly comprising several parts and for the unit comprising components and assemblies, are listed.

(3) Interchangeability When design or parts changes have been made on a part of the machine, this term is used to define whether the old parts may be replaced with new parts without modifications or not. The parts list includes symbols for parts to be added or discarded incident to such design or parts changes. (Refer to the comments on such symbols.)

(4) Part name Names other than those of single parts, such as those of assemblies and units, are shown in the list. For part name, the letters before “,” show the part name proper, while those following “,” show the location where the part is used. For example, “Bracket, air cleaner” shows the name proper – “bracket” and its location – air cleaner. Letters “RH” and “LH,” if appearing in the part name, mean the right-hand side and left-hand side, respectively, when viewed from the operator on the machine.
