We recommend you assess a faulty piece of equipment as follows before you start
with the “repairs”.
Carry out a functional test to determine if the fault is a mechanical failure, i. e. parts
have broken off or have been lost. Replace these parts and then reset the machine
by following the instructions in chapter 10 “Tying function adjustment”.
In many cases the tying function ability is there, but not as good as usual. In this case
reappraise the tying function as shown in chapter 10.
The operator’s manual has a chapter on maintenance. There you can find the spots
that need to be greased. Please follow the instructions shown there.
