INTRODUCTION:

This Master Parts Catalog F-i4072 contains replacement parts information ir model years 1967 il‘lru i972. Before ordering replacement parts, you must first identify the vehicle by its model year and series. information to assist you is located on pages Ge – l2, Ge – l3 and Ge – l4. ‘ For your convenience, this parts catalog has been issued in two sections. Section one consists of text copy, specific illustrations listing part numbers, Body Miscellaneous and Parks. Section two, the illustrations Supplement, consists of general illustrations and is under Separate cover. it he: been assigned form number F-15072.

• Individual parts are assigned a group number. The first number identifies the main unit it is aifiliated with. Following the decimal is the sub-group number under which all parts of the same name and function are listed. Example: Group 1.059 HEAD, Cylinder.  “1.” indicates that it is on engine part, ”.059″ is the sub-group number where part numbers of cylinder heads can be located. The suffix (example: “-10”) should not be Interpreted as being part of the group number. it merely serves as a refer— ence number to tie in the illustrations Supplement collouts with the Text section group numbers.
• Although, clue to their nature and use, many parts may appear in more than one gr0up in this catalog. each part is as- signed an identifying primary group number. This is the number under which the part is priced in the American Motors Parts and Distribution Services Division Price List, listed in the Dealer Parts Order Pad, listed on Paris Storage Location Labels and stored in American Motors Ports and Distribution Services Division Warehouses and Dealerships. Ports should always be ordered by their identifying primary group number, port number. and noun name.
