OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS:
PRELIMINARY SERVICE:

• The operator should be familiar with all operating instructions before attempting to operate the machine.
• Check the transmission oil level and the hydraulic unit oil level before operation. Check to determine that the battery is adequately charged, properly installed and connected.
• Check the operation of the safety interlock and the dead man brake as well as the lift and lower control before moving the machine. The direction control switches should not operate and the mechanical brake should be engaged when the control handle is either fully raised or fully lowered. Moving the handle to a middle position should permit the direction control switches to operate the machine.
• All operating controls of your two speed Prime-Mover electric stacker truck are located in the control handle. The control for the optional third speed is located on the hand rail.

CONTROLS:

• In everyday use of electric stacker trucks, there are some hazards that can not be avoided solely bymechanical means, but only by using intelligence, good sense, care and proper maintenance. So it is most important to have careful and reliable personnel who are physically and mentally capable and who have proper training. Only people who have been properly trained should be authorized to operate the electric stacker.
• Only move materials that have been properly loaded, and then transport in as low a position as possible.

Safety Interlock:
The safety interlock eliminates switching into operataing position when the handle is either fully raised or fully lowered. This switch operates automatically but the functioning should be checked before attempting to operate the machine.
