DESCRIPTION:

This publication should be used in conjunction with the standard tractor service manual. It deals with the aspects of driving and routine servicing which are affected by the fitting of the front wheel drive unit. The drive to the front wheels is taken from a splined extension at the front of the pinion shaft of the gearbox to the transfer box bolted under the rear main frame. This drives a cardan shaft through a dog clutch which allows disengagement of the front wheel drive for road work .
