  • The Energy Control & Isolation Plan is an integral part of the Ulan Underground Mine Safety Management System and impacts directly on all areas where work is performed.
  • The Energy Control & Isolation Plan is used in conjunction with the Ulan Underground Risk Standard for managing all types of work where exposure to uncontrolled energy sources creates an unacceptable level of risk.
  • All Isolation procedures developed under the Energy Control & Isolation Plan will follow the Generic 12 Step Process outlined in Figure 1 and detailed in Appendix A.
