The Traction object shall create а TractPCB object using the TractL0R class.
The Traction object shall provide the scaled АС and DC currents for Left and Right Traction motors.
The Traction object shall continually update the Left and Right traction motor overloads.
AII traction trips shall Ье added to the Mainlog fault log.
lf the traction is OFF, and traction transformer contactor feedback is detected, then trip the pilot.
lf left ог right traction overload is detected, then turn OFF Traction and set an overload trip message.
lf digital input “Traction E arth Leakage Trip” is open (О), then turn OFF Traction and set а trip message.
lf а Traction motor is ON, and the motor current is less than the minimum ON current, turn both Traction motors
OFF, and set а system trip message.
lf а Traction motor is OFF, and the motor current is greater than the maximum OFF current, turn both Traction
motors OFF, and set а system trip message.
The Traction Transformer shall Ье turned ON when апу Tram switch is pressed, and remain ON for 2 seconds
after all Tram switches have been released.
When traction is ON, and any traction switch is pressed, the output traction voltage shall Ье set as defined in
Analog Output – Traction Drive Speed Refernces, otherwise it shall Ье set to zero volts.
While any Traction motor is ON, а software Traction hour meter shall Ье updated, and the Traction Brake
solenoid shall Ье energized.
Three traction speed shall Ье availaЬle, with speed 1 (the slowest) being designated as the Sumping speed.
The Sumping speed shall Ье adjustaЬle in setup.
lf the Cutter motors аге ON, only Sumping speed is availaЬle.
lf both tram tracks аге ON each in the reverse of the other (Pirouetting), then only Sumping speed is availaЬle.
While tramming at speed 1, if either cutter motor current is above SUMP CUTTER CURRENT МАХ then reduce
the traction speed ог if both cutter motor currents аге below SUMP CUTTER CURRENT MIN then increase the
traction speed (up to max sump speed).
lf “Left/Right Traction Thermistor” trip is detected, then turn OFF traction, and set а Thermistor Trip message.
When а traction motor is ON in reverse, the siren shall pulse ON.
lf the Pumps аге not ON, the traction shall Ье turned OFF.
lf while the Traction is ON, and Transformer Contactor lnterlocks is detected as по! active, turn OFF Traction.
Traction shall Ье inhiblted until brake pressure is active. After BRAKE_PRESSURE timeout {adjustaЬle in
setup), trip traction, and set а system trip message.
Traction shall Ье inhiblted if either Left ог Right traction breaker is tripped.
No опе second delay is required between brake ON, and brake check.
Speed 2 ог Speed 3 is selectaЬle in reverse at all times. lf the Cutters аге running, the speed should по! Ье
inhiblted, but the Cutters stopped then the higher speed allowed.
