The power head is lubricated by oil mixed with the fuel. For normal serv- ice after break-in, mix ‘5, pint of Quick- silver Premium Blend 2-Cyele Outboard Oil or a NMMA TC-WII certified oil with each gallon of gasoline. The recom- mended ratio is ‘3’, pint of oil per gallon of gasoline for severe service and dur- ing break-in. Mano facturer recommends no-lead automotive gasoline although regular or premium gasoline may be used if octane rating is 85 or higher. Gasoline and oil should be thoroughly mixed.

• The lower unit gears and bearings are lubricated by oil contained in the gear— case. Recommended gearcase oil is Quicksilver Premium Blend Gear Lube or a suitable noncorrosive EP 90 out- board gear oil. The gearcase should be drained and refilled every 100 hours or at least once per season prior to storage.
• Maintain fluid at level of upper (vent) plug. To fill gearcase, have motor in an upright position and fill through lower hole in side of gear-case until fluid reaches level of upper (vent) plug hole. Reinstall and tighten both plugs secure- ly, using new gaskets if necessary. to assure a water tight seal.

FORCE 35 HP;

T11201 and number 22 tester with load coil from tool T8996 and refer to follow- ing trouble-shooting procedures: Check and make sure ignition mal- function is not due to spark plug or igni- tion coil failure. If spark is absent at both cylinders, check condition of charge coil as follows: Separate the blue and yellow wire connection between charge coil and CD ignition module and attach double wire plug adapter to wire plug from charge coil
