OPERATING CONTROLS
POWER SWITCH
Set to OFF position when scale is not in use or when charging the battery which supplies power to the scale. Lift
power switch all the way-up to the ON position to turn unit on, then release; it springs down to the TEST position.
COARSE ZERO CONTROL
Use this potentiometer, recessed on the bottom panel of the indicator, to set the indicator display as close to zero
as possible when the scale is empty. Adjustment range of the coarse zero control is 17 full turns. Turn cockwise
to increase the displayed reading and counter-clockwise to decrease it.
ZERO ADJUST CONTROL
Use to fine-adjust the display to zero after using the coarse zero control. Adjustment range of the zero adjust
control knob is 1 O full turns. Turn clockwise to increase the displayed reading and counter-clockwise to decrease it.
ALARM ADJUST CONTROL
Use to set an alarm value to desired weight value. Alarm value appears on the display only when the alarm selector
switch (refer to next paragraph) is in LOAD or UNLOAD position. The alarm adjust control requires 10 full turns
to adjust the alarm setting from zero to half capacity.
