2 tractor truck, Intemational Models . Π-542-9 and Π-542-11, Marmon-Herrington model Π-542-11, and Kenworth Model Π-542-11. These instructionsΒ·are supplementary to field and technical manuals prepared f or the using arms. This maΡual does not contain informatjon which is intended primarily for the using arms since such information is availaΠ«e to ordnance personnel in Π’Π 9-812.
Π¬. This manual contains Π° description of, and procedure for, the maintenance and overhaul of all parts of the vehicle~
Ρ. Π’Π 9-812 contains technical jnformation required for the identification, use, and care of the materiel, and is designed to
guide using arm personnel in performing maintenance work within their jurisdiction.
d. Since ordnance maintenance personnel will usually receive for overhaul and repair engines, clutches, transmissions, and other major vehicle units that have already Π¬Π΅Π΅n removed Π¬Ρ using arm personnel, and will return reconditioned units to using arm personnel for replacement installation, the procedures for removal and installation of such major units are given in Π’Π 9-812 and not repeated in this manual.
