• ALWAYS make sure no person or object is in your line of travel BEFORE starting.
• WORK slowly in small areas. DO NOT run engine in a closed building for long.
• NEVER spray fuel oil on or near screed while it is being heated.
• AVOID steep hills if possible. If you have to operate on a slope, travel up or down, not across.
