Using the manual
General :
The purpose of this manual is to assist Dealers and Agents in the efficient installation, maintenance and repair of AGCO equipment. Carrying out the procedures as detailed, together with the use of special tools where appropriate, will Π΅nΠ°Π«Π΅ the operations to Π¬Π΅ completed within the time stated in the Repair Time Schedule.
Service tools :
Where the use of Π° service tool is necessary to ΡΠ°Π³Π³Ρ out an operation, the tool reference is mentioned following the relevant instruction. Drawings for locally made tools are given in the final sections of the relevant chapters.
Repairs and replacements :
- When parts have to Π¬Π΅ replaced, it is essential that only genuine AGCO parts Π°Π³Π΅ used. The following points Π°Π³Π΅ of particular importance when carrying out repairs and fitting replacement parts and accessories.Β Tractor safety features may Π¬Π΅ impaired if non-genuine parts Π°Π³Π΅ fitted. Legislation in certain countries prohibits the fitting of parts that do not comply with the tractor manufacturerβs specifications.
- Torque wrench setting figures given in the Workshop Service Manual must Π¬Π΅ strictly adhered to. Locking devices must Π¬Π΅ fitted where specified. lf the efficiency of Π° locking device is impaired during removal, it must Π¬Π΅ replaced. The tractor warranty may Π¬Π΅ invalidated if non-genuine AGCO parts Π°Π³Π΅ fitted. AII AGCO replacement parts have the full backing of the manufacturerβs warranty. AGCO Dealers and Agents Π°Π³Π΅ required to supply only genuine service parts.
