Introduction
Opens with the documentation package (Safety, Operation & Maintenance Manual, Parts Book and the video-instruction CD), CD system requirements, and how the manual is organised. You get the machine’s intended applications, the direction convention used throughout (front, rear, left, right as seen from the cab), breaking-in guidance for a new machine, and the location of every identification plate — product ID, engine, drive motors, swing motor, hydraulic pump and the chassis serial number stamped on the travel carriage frame. There is also a serial-number and distributor record table you can fill in for your own machine.
Safety
The largest chapter in the manual, and the one you should read first. It defines the hazard alert wording used throughout (DANGER, WARNING, CAUTION, NOTICE), then walks through every safety decal on the machine with both textual and graphical examples and a full set of decal-location diagrams. From there it covers general precautions — PPE, fire extinguisher and first aid kit, safety equipment, machine cleaning, keeping the cab clear, locking the hydraulic controls before leaving the cab, hand-holds and steps, working at height, burns and scalds, fire and explosion hazards, falling-object protection, attachment installation, cab window glass, unauthorised modification, work-site investigation, loose ground, overhead power cables (with a safe-distance table for voltages from 100 V to 500,000 V), visibility, ventilation, asbestos and the alternate exit. Safe operation precautions follow: safe mounting, operator seat, seat belt, engine starting rules, cold-season starting, jump-starting the battery, inspection before operation, travel direction confirmation, turning, slope travel, parking, transportation, battery handling, towing and lifting. The chapter closes with maintenance precautions: lockout/tagout, proper tools, working with the engine running, working under the machine, track maintenance and tension adjustment, recoil spring safety, welding, high-pressure hoses, pressurised fluid, hot cooling system, A/C system, high voltage, accumulator handling, fire and explosion prevention, regular replacement of safety-related parts and proper waste disposal.
System Functions
A complete tour of the operator station and every control, alert and system on the machine. The monitoring system section documents the display screen in detail — the user menu, air-conditioning page, audio page, service assistant pages (running information, engine switch signal, hydraulic system signal, total work time, GPS information, fault history, machine configuration), language selection, system clock calibration, shortcut menu and brightness adjustment. Switches covers the start switch, fuel control dial, work lamp, head lamp, wiper, washer, horn, cab lamp, cigarette lighter and preheat switch, plus the preheat and charging indicators. Control levers and pedals covers the hydraulic lockout control, travel control levers and the left/right joysticks, with clear direction diagrams for each. The chapter then goes through the cab windows and door, cup holder, ash tray, manual pocket, drink box, alternate exit, fire extinguisher, electronic control module, fusible link, air conditioning control panel and operation, the radio (including station presetting and sound effect adjustment), cab door catch, lockable caps and covers, toolbox and grease pump frame.
Maintenance
This is the chapter you will return to most often. It opens with maintenance information, then the oil, fuel and coolant specifications, wear-parts table (with part numbers and intervals), the recommended fuel/oil/coolant chart covering ambient temperatures from −30 °C to +50 °C, the capacities table for every model, and the full tightening torque tables for metric fasteners and hydraulic hoses. A list of safety-critical parts with their scheduled replacement intervals follows, then the maintenance schedule itself. From there the manual gives step-by-step procedures: initial 50-hour and 500-hour service, track shoe bolt tightening, track tension inspection and adjustment, bucket replacement, bucket tip replacement, bucket clearance adjustment, window washer fluid, refrigerant level check, ceiling window gas spring inspection, greasing points, air filter element service, fan belt and compressor belt tension, oil return check valve, hydraulic pipe clamps, swing bearing lubrication, engine oil and filter change, swing pinion gear grease, primary and secondary fuel filter replacement, radiator and oil cooler cleaning, A/C fresh air and recirculation filters, swing drive and final drive oil level checks, hydraulic oil suction filter, cab door lock and window lock catch, door hinge and slide rail greasing, wiper arm nut, exhaust pipe clamps, accumulator nitrogen pressure checks, cooling system cleaning, alternator inspection, engine valve clearance, water pump, start motor, hydraulic tank oil change, accumulator replacement and high-pressure tube clamp checks. Every procedure notes the tools needed, torque values, capacities and safety warnings specific to that job.
Troubleshooting
Written for the technician who needs to diagnose a fault fast. It starts with the checks to carry out before troubleshooting and the precautions for electrical circuits and hydraulic components. The engine failure section includes a full troubleshooting table plus dedicated procedures for high coolant temperature, low engine oil pressure, running out of fuel (with air-bleeding steps) and reverse rotation. The electrical system section includes a troubleshooting table and a failure-code list with symptom, alarm condition and probable cause. Battery removal, installation, charging and jump-starting with jumper cables are covered step by step. The hydraulic system section has its own troubleshooting table covering slow work equipment, weak travel, swing problems and pump noise. A final other-common-failures section covers structural noise, bucket tip loss, track kinks, A/C faults and refrigerant pressure diagnosis.
Specifications
Machine dimensions for all six models in the Fig 6-1 / Table 7-1 format, with overall length, width, height, upper width, standard track width, track gauge, minimum ground clearance, tail swing radius, track shoe grounding length, track length and counterweight clearance. Working range diagrams follow, then the operating parameters table listing working weight, bucket capacity, engine model, engine power, travel speed and swing speed for each model in the range.
Optional Equipment
Everything the machine can be fitted with after delivery. It opens with safety information and selection guidance, then the hydraulic control elements and oil circuit (stop valve, selector valve and attachment control pedal), hydraulic circuit switching between breaker and general attachment modes, and the correct procedure for connecting, removing and installing attachments. Work equipment combination tables follow, then recommended operation for the hydraulic breaker — including restricted operations and the correct greasing method. Quick coupler control and safe-operation precautions, the fueling system (with refueling pump specifications), and the central lubrication system (system makeup, working principle, lubrication time setup, technical description and grease filling) round out the chapter.
What This Manual Lets You Do
With the SANY SY195C9–SY265C9 manual in hand you can carry out the full scheduled maintenance programme, diagnose engine, electrical and hydraulic faults using the factory tables and failure codes, set track tension correctly, service the swing and final drives, replace filters and fluids to the specified capacities, and install or remove approved attachments without guessing. The torque values, service intervals, capacities, pressures and safety-critical replacement times are all here — the same numbers the dealer workshop uses.
