Description
Terex TA35 Articulated Truck Parts Book – What’s Inside
The Terex TA35 Articulated Truck Parts Book (Part Number 15272759) is the illustrated parts catalog for the Detroit Diesel Series 60 powered TA35, covering tractor serial numbers A7761001 through A7761243. Every assembly in this 576-page PDF is laid out with an exploded-view illustration on one page and the corresponding part numbers, quantities, descriptions, and serial-number applicability on the facing page, so you can trace a component from the major group right down to the nut, washer, and seal that hold it together. Revised in August 2002, this edition reflects the running production changes that fall inside the serial window, including the sub-range A7761201 to A7761204 fitted with AP17 ZF axles.

Section 100 – Chassis
Covers the front frame assembly (split between early and later serial numbers), hood and mounting, and fenders with their brackets, mudguards, steps, and mirror mounting hardware. The exploded hood view shows every hinge, gas strut, insulation panel, and latch component so you can order the exact piece instead of a whole assembly.
Section 110 – Engine
The Detroit Diesel Series 60 engine mounting plates, vibration isolators, belts, filters, and the fan drive are laid out here, along with the air cleaner, its safety and main elements, the intake pipes and hoses, the exhaust system (silencer, flexible tube, clamps, and stack), and the engine coupling with its flexible element and bearings.
Section 120 – Transmission
The largest section in the book, breaking the 6WG310 transmission down into gearbox housing, control valve, shift control, filter, oil pump, torque converter, lubrication pipes, electric shift control valve, gearshift, clutch assemblies (KV+K1, KR+K2, K4+K3), retarder, PTO main hydraulic pump, power take-off, emergency steering pump, drive assembly, layshaft gearing, differential, and axle disconnect. Each sub-assembly carries its own illustration and parts list, with serial breaks shown where a change was introduced mid-run.
Section 130 – Driveline & Section 140 – Front Axle
The front driveline section diagrams the U-joints, capscrews, and anti-flail guard, with a separate listing for the AP17 ZF-equipped trucks. The front axle section goes deeper: axle complete, axle group, wheel/rim/tyre, and a fully exploded front differential with spiral bevel gear set, pinion, spacers, shims, and bearing cages.
Section 165 – Brake Parts & Section 180 – Suspension System
Brake calipers, lining sets, seal kits, and pistons are catalogued by brake head assembly and serial range. The suspension section lists the front suspension frame, dampers, rubber mounts, control links, and all mounting hardware in exploded form.
Section 190 – Electrical System
Terminals, connectors, cab and chassis harnesses, batteries and cables, lighting (headlamps, indicators, rear working lights), alternator, starter motor, switches and sensors, radio/cassette and speakers, and the horn are all laid out with part numbers and wiring references.
Section 200 – Fuel System & Section 210 – Cooling System
Fuel tank, cap, gauge, strainer, and fuel lines are grouped with the accelerator linkage. The cooling section covers the radiator assembly, mounting, piping, header tank and hoses, the transmission oil cooler and lines, and the hydraulic oil cooler, each with a parts breakdown.
Section 220 – Steering, Section 230 – Body, Section 250 – Braking
Steering lines, steering column mounting, and the emergency steering valve are here. The body section handles hoist lines and fittings, servo control lines, body hoist tank and mounting, control valve, joystick, and pilot supply valve. The braking section diagrams hydraulic brake lines, brake pump, brake manifold, accumulators, treadle valve, and directional control valve.
Section 260 – Cab & Section 290 – Decals
The cab assembly, mounting, left-hand door, switches and instruments, driver and passenger seats, air conditioner/heater, and heater lines are exploded down to individual fasteners. The decals section lists the safety and instruction decals applied to the machine.
Tractor Optional Sections, Trailer Sections & Trailer Optional Sections
The book closes with optional equipment fitted to the tractor (guard/grille/steps, additional lighting, flashing beacon, optional driver seat, safety mirrors, fire extinguisher, miscellaneous items, and hand tool kit), followed by a complete set of trailer sections covering the rear frame, articulation and oscillation pivot, rear driveline, centre axle and differential, rear axle and differential, brake parts, parking brake, rear suspension, rear frame harnesses, lighting, reverse alarm, bowl hydraulic system, brake lines, and body assembly. Trailer optional sections cover mudflaps, exhaust-heated body, tailgate and tailgate cylinder, spillguards, wear plates, and body side extensions.
How This TA35 Parts Book Helps You
Whether you are rebuilding a transmission, chasing a hydraulic leak, replacing a cab door latch, or ordering the right seal for a front axle hub, the illustrated parts breakdown gets you the correct part number on the first attempt. Each illustration carries item numbers keyed to the facing parts list, and the notes on the page flag ordering rules such as “Item 1 includes Items 1-5” so you do not double-order. Serial-number columns on the later pages tell you exactly which variant fits your truck, which matters most on the sub-range A7761201 to A7761204 with AP17 ZF axles.
Because this is a parts book rather than a service manual, it does not give you torque values or repair procedures. What it does give you is the complete bill of materials for every assembly on the TA35, which is the foundation of any rebuild, overhaul, or parts-ordering job. If you maintain a TA35 in a fleet, this PDF turns a guessing game at the parts counter into a two-minute lookup.
