• White 2.55 , 2.65 , 2.75 Tractor Service Repair Manual
• Tractor serial number is stamped on plate attached to left side of tractor frame and is also stamped on front frame at lower left corner of radiator grille. Engine serial number is stamped on left front side of engine block behind alternator of Models 2-55 and 2-65. On Model 2-75, engine serial number is stamped on lower left side of engine block next to front mounting pad.
• To remove adjustable front axle and wheels as an assembly, support front of tractor and disconnect tie rod ends from center steering arm (22-Fig. 1). Remove pivot pin (10) from front support and axle main member. Raise front of tractor and roll front axle and wheels from under tractor. Inspect all parts for excessive wear or other damage. Pivot pin standard diameter is 39.950-39.975 mm (1.5728-1.5738 inches) on Models 2-55 and 2-65 or 49.950-49.975 mm (1.9665-1.9675 inches) on Model 2-75.
• Renew pivot pin if wear exceeds 0.1 mm (0.004 inch). Pivot pin bushing inside diameter is 40.025-40.064 mm (1.5758-1.5773 inches) on Models 2-55 and 2-65 or 50.025-50.064 mm (1.9695-1.971 inches) on Model 2-75. Maximum allowable bushing wear is 0.2 mm (0.008 inch). When renewing pivot bushings, use a suitable driver and install bushings with seam upward. To reinstall axle, reverse removal procedure. Be sure to renew “0” rings (12) and apply multi-purpose grease to sliding parts during assembly.
