Section 001 — Chassis
Covers the main frame assembly, hood and mounting, front fenders, radiator guard and mounting, plus mudguards. Exploded frame views show the complete weldment with bushings, guards, crossmembers, cab mounting crossmember and handrail assemblies. Every bolt, hardened washer, locknut and spring disc is listed with its Terex part number and quantity per assembly.
Section 002 — Engine
Engine ordering instructions, engine and mounting, engine air cleaner, air cleaner mounting pipes and hoses, engine lubrication lines and the engine flywheel cover group / PTO. The illustration set shows the KTTA-19C mounted on its front and rear shock mounts, the remote oil fill neck, air cleaner elements, lube filters and the flywheel cover PTO assembly with its drive gear, driven gear, bearings and end yoke. Note: Terex does not sell engine parts; the separate Cummins engine parts book is not included here.
Section 004 — Transmission
By far the deepest section in the book. Covers transmission mounting (early and late serial break), transmission breakdown, shift control with ATEC ECU, PTO, transmission filter, oil lines, torque converter housing group, converter front cover, transmission oil pump, filter adaptor and regulator valve, lock-up valve, ATEC lock-up drop-out, retarder group and retarder control valve, splitter gearing and clutches, main housing group, control valve, high / intermediate / low / reverse range gearing and clutches, rear cover group and the throttle sensor and mounting. Exploded assemblies show every clutch plate, piston, seal, bearing, gear, snap ring and valve body spring in order.
Section 007 — Drivelines
Front and rear driveline assemblies with cross assemblies, straps, bolts, grease fittings and dust caps. Includes flange yoke and unit package part numbers for both the standard and the retarder-equipped rear driveline.
Section 008 — Rear Axle Group
Rear axle differential, rear axle group, rear axle planetary gearing, rear wheel, rim and tyre, rear wheel brake parts (full oil-cooled disc brake assembly with pistons, seals, friction discs, splined plates and service piston), rear axle ride cylinder and rear wheel rock ejector. The differential exploded view shows the yoke, pinion, spider gears, side gears, bearing cups and cones, adjusters, and the complete brake assembly with every bolt and stud called out.
Section 009 — Front Axle Group
Front wheel, rim and tyre, front axle brake parts and front ride cylinder. The front brake illustration is a complete exploded view of the oil-cooled disc caliper, showing bleeder valve, pins, lining kit, pistons, boots, packings, backup rings and the brake disc itself. The front ride cylinder is broken down with its cap end, recharge valve, check valve, piston rod, wear rings and seals.
Section 012 — Steering System
Steering valve (with gerotor, centering spring kit, drive, spacer plate and end cap), lower and intermediate steering columns, column mounting, steering lines, steering cylinder, steering pump and pump mounting, steering tank with filter, linkage, accumulator, relief valve and double relief valve. Hydraulic routing is shown through the schematic pages so each hose assembly and ORFS adaptor is traceable.
Section 013 — Electrical System
Terminals and connectors (spade, ring, pin, socket, battery cable terminals and clamps), cab harnesses, frame and engine harnesses, battery and cables, lighting system, reverse alarm, horn and the switches and sensors section. Wiring schematics are split across sheets and cover dash, cab floor, engine, frame, rear lamps, brake switches and air filter harnesses.
Section 015 — Fuel System
Fuel tank and mounting with straps, sight gauge, latch, cap and gasket, fuel lines, accelerator linkage (pedal assembly, ball joints, rods, springs) and the cold start kit with its injection nozzle, reservoir bowl, pump and mounting bracket.
Section 016 — Cooling System
Radiator assembly, radiator mounting, radiator piping, header tank and hoses, oil cooler and piping for disc brakes, and oil cooler and piping for the transmission. Joule tube replacement parts and radiator flex mounts are all listed.
Section 017 — Cab or Canopy
Cab assembly, glass reference (front, rear, side and door glass sizes), cab door and right-hand door, wiper and mounting, dash and mounting, three serial-dependent variants of switches and instruments, driver and passenger seats, battery mounting, heater, heater lines and wiring, three rear view mirror configurations, windscreen washer and seat belt.
Sections 018 & 026 — Body / Bowl and Body/Bowl System
Body or bowl assembly with shed plates, hinge pins, body pads and body-down indicator, exhaust-heated body, plus the complete body/bowl hydraulic circuit: hydraulic lines and fittings, filtered drain lines, hydraulic tank, breather line, body/bowl hoist cylinders, pump, control valve and mounting, control valve linkage, reverse hoist interlock, kick-over valve and mounting, and relief valve.
Section 027 — Braking System
Brake lines and fittings in both serial splits, treadle valve with its seal, spring, spool/sleeve and boot kits, accumulator, brake manifold valve / PAS valve, flow control valve, retarder control valve, differential brake pressure switch, hydraulic oil cooling lines for disc brakes in both serial splits, oil-cooled disc brake filter assembly and the monoblock brake valve with its pressure reducing, shuttle and relief valve cartridges.
Section 059 — Miscellaneous
English decals, multi clamps and hardware and Terex promotional items.
Optional Sections Book — Parts Book No. 5442
A second table of contents is included for the optional equipment, covering hoodsides, engine fan and mounting, retarder transmission assembly and oil lines, retarder control lines, converter housing group, retarder group, main housing group, rear driveline for retarder units, rear axle differential variants, alternate rear and front wheel / rim / tyre options, 100 amp alternator, transmission range display indicator, fast-fill fuel tank, air-ride driver seat, tachograph, air conditioner / heater variants, air conditioner lines in several serial and date splits, fire extinguisher, radio / cassette and speakers in two builds, body options, top extensions and spillguard, wear protection plates and rock options, dry / slippery brake lines, pressure reducing valve and lubrication system.
Why This Terex 3360 Parts Book Belongs in Your Workshop
An off-highway truck is only as useful as the parts system that keeps it running. This Terex 3360 parts manual gives you the exact reference-to-part-number mapping for the complete machine as built for serial numbers T5441001 through T5441069 — so when a rear ride cylinder seal blows, a transmission clutch plate needs replacing, a cab door latch fails, or a steering cylinder end cap cracks, you can pull the assembly illustration, read the reference number, and order the correct component the first time. No more guessing at part numbers from a generic catalogue, no more returning the wrong seal kit because the earlier or later serial break was missed.
The exploded views are grouped by the same major sections the factory uses, so a repair that touches more than one system — a rear axle brake job that needs a new oil cooling line, a transmission retarder overhaul that needs a new lock-up valve — can be worked as one job with all the fasteners, gaskets and sub-assemblies identified from the same source. Every ORFS O-ring size is listed so hydraulic assemblies go back together dry and leak-free. Every shim pack and snap ring is drawn, so bearing preload and end-float work is done to the assembly that the factory actually built, not a lookalike.
Because the book is organised to the serial number break, it is the correct reference for early and late trucks in this range, not a blend. If you own, service or fleet-manage a 3360 with a Cummins KTTA-19C, having the parts book that matches your serial number removes the single biggest cause of downtime on any haul truck — a wrong or late-arriving part.
