What This Parts Catalog Gives You

A spare parts list is only as good as its detail, and this one is exhaustive. The RP 402 and RP 420 parts manual breaks the baler into every major system — from the road axle and braking system through the pick-up, rotor, gearbox, rollers, binding system, hydraulics, and electrical components. Each exploded diagram is paired with a tabular parts list that provides the position number, Welger part number, quantity required, and a description in all three languages. Whether you are ordering a single bearing, rebuilding a roller, or tracing a hydraulic hose, the diagram and table together let you identify the exact component without guesswork.

The document also includes a complete part number index at the back, so if you already have a part number you can locate the correct diagram and position instantly. The multilingual format means the same catalog works for German-speaking technicians, English-speaking owners, and French-speaking dealers — no separate editions needed.

Who This Manual Is For

This Lely Welger RP 402 RP 420 spare parts catalog is intended for anyone who maintains, repairs, or restores these round balers. That includes farm workshop technicians, agricultural machinery dealers, independent repair shops, and owners who prefer to source their own parts. Because the diagrams show how each assembly fits together, the catalog doubles as a teardown and reassembly reference for mechanical work — not just an ordering tool.

Why a Proper Parts List Matters

Round balers are complex machines with hundreds of wear parts, bearings, chains, and hydraulic fittings. Ordering the wrong part wastes time and money, and reassembling a component incorrectly can cause repeated failures. Using the original Welger RP 402 RP 420 parts list eliminates both risks: you see the exact part number the factory assigned, the quantity required per assembly, and how it relates to surrounding components. For older balers like the RP 402 and RP 420, having this catalog in digital form is often the fastest way to identify parts that may no longer be in a dealer’s system.
