What This SAME Solaris Manual Gives You
This is a full-vehicle document, not a leaflet. It covers the entire Solaris 35 / 45 / 55 platform from pre-start inspection through to full fault isolation, and it is written for the person who actually runs and maintains the machine. The safety section alone runs to more than thirty pages of numbered rules for mounting, dismounting, hitching, PTO work and road travel, so an owner can satisfy themselves and their operators that the tractor is being handled correctly.
The operating chapters explain every lever, pedal, gauge and indicator on the Solaris layout, including the shuttle lever, the 540/1000 rpm PTO selector with its safety lock, the creeper range selector, the electro-hydraulic differential lock button and the front PTO switch. Cold starting, thermostart pre-heating, turbocharger warm-up and cool-down, and emergency starting through an auxiliary battery are all set out with the correct sequence, so the reader does not have to guess at what the manual means by “position 1” or “ENGINE START – OFF”.
The maintenance section is where the document earns its keep over years of ownership. It sets out the maintenance and inspection schedule in operating-hour intervals, and then walks through every routine job: engine oil and filter changes, fuel filter replacement, bleeding air from the fuel system using the drain screws at the tank/filter circuit, the filter/injection pump circuit and the injection pump itself, air filter cleaning with compressed air or water, the inner safety element rule, cooling system flushing with AKROS FREEZE, thermostat checks, belt tension, clutch free travel, gearbox and transmission oil level checks through the sight glass, gearbox oil and filter changes (including the front PTO casing drain and mesh filter), hydrostatic steering bleeding, brake checks, front axle and hub final drive oil, pivot bush greasing, three-point linkage greasing, the telescopic stabiliser and top link adjustments, front lift servicing, and windscreen washer, wiper, heating and air conditioning maintenance.
Hydraulics are covered in real detail. The auxiliary hydraulic services control valve is explained in terms of double-acting and double/single-acting operation, the screw conversion that turns a double-acting valve into a single-acting one, and how the oil flows to and from the cylinder in lifting and lowering modes. The document includes the four-way split on this tractor, with two ways at the centre-right of the machine and two at the front, and it explains how the tractor shares one oil supply between the gearbox, hydrostatic steering, power lift and remote services – which is the reason the transmission oil level must be checked with the cylinders both extended and retracted.
The electrical system chapter is complete with fuse box layouts, wiring for the cab, air conditioning unit, radio and worklights, the functional electrical diagrams, bulb types for every light on the machine (H4 12V 60/55W headlight, R5W tail, P21 brake and indicator, H3 12V 55W work lights, 12V 10W interior), and the headlight alignment procedure using the 10 m wall method with the h – 10 cm vertical drop.
Technical specifications give the reader the numbers they need without guesswork: engine bore and stroke, displacement, compression ratio, rated power to ECE R24-03 and 2000/25/CE, maximum torque and rpm, oil capacity, coolant capacity, starter and alternator ratings, clutch plate dimensions and free travel, gearbox ratios, PTO stub shaft sizes and ratio table, front axle reduction ratios and steering angles, hydrostatic steering relief valve settings, lift capacity, dimensions, weights, maximum permissible axle loads, and ballast weights.
Why Buy This SAME Solaris 35 45 55 Manual
Every repair, adjustment and service task on a Solaris tractor begins with the correct value or the correct sequence. Torque figures, oil capacities, oil types, pressures, clearances, adjustment limits and diagnostic decision trees are all in this manual, and the fault diagnosis section walks through the common symptoms – engine won’t turn over, hard starting, white or dark exhaust smoke, no response to throttle, hunting idle, overheating, gear selection difficulty, gears jumping out, noisy gearbox, oil leaks, poor braking, slow or failed hydraulic lift, lift oscillation, and auxiliary hydraulic faults – with the checks to run and the likely causes.
Because the manual covers the Solaris 35, 45 and 55 in a single document, it also includes the model-specific differences such as the turbocharged 45 and 55 HP engines (TD025 WG and TD03) against the naturally aspirated 35 HP, and the tyre and track combination tables that list which width settings are permissible for each tyre size on each horsepower rating.
