Beyond the parts themselves, the front matter explains the two numbering systems the catalogue depends on. The ATA page numbering is broken into chapter/system and subject/sub-system, and the part numbering system is explained field by field β the aircraft identifier, the group the part belongs to, the sequential sub-assembly or item number, and the final field that distinguishes an assembly from a single item or a left/right pair. The eleven Tecnam part groups are listed and shown on a labelled aircraft diagram, so a part number can be traced back to the area of the aircraft it belongs to before a single figure is opened.
Effectivity and Serial-Number Notes
Where a part applies only to a portion of the fleet, the catalogue flags it in the S/N column of the part list. Entries appear as a single serial number, a range from one serial number to another, or an open-ended βfrom S/Nβ statement, and modifications are referenced by their MOD number alongside the affected part. Several illustrations exist in more than one configuration, so the same physical area of the aircraft may appear on two figures with different item numbers depending on build standard. This is the detail that makes the catalogue usable across a production run rather than only on one airframe.
How to Use It
The general section sets out two lookup routes. If the part number is already known, it can be found in the alphanumeric index, which points to the chapter, section and figure where the part is listed; the item number from that list is then located on the illustration. If the part number is not known, the route runs the other way: start at the table of contents, identify the chapter and section, open the figure, find the part on the drawing, note the item number, then read the part number, description and quantity from the matching part list. A worked example is included for each route.

What This Catalogue Lets You Do
With the correct part number in hand, ordering stops being guesswork. The figure-and-item layout lets a technician or owner confirm visually that the part on the bench is the part on the drawing before anything is ordered, and the serial-number column confirms whether that part actually applies to the airframe being worked on. Assemblies can be broken down into their individual items, left and right variants are separated rather than assumed, and quantities are stated per installation so a complete set can be ordered in one pass. The exploded views also show how the parts go together, which is useful when a component has to be dismantled and reassembled rather than simply replaced.
Delivery
The catalogue is supplied as an instant-download PDF. There is no physical shipment, no waiting for a courier and no regional restriction. The file opens on a laptop, tablet or phone, and any figure or part list can be printed for use in the hangar or at the bench.
Whether the job is a placard replacement, a flap hinge, a nose gear fairing, a brake hose, a canopy lock, a fuel selector, a stabilator travel stop or an exhaust spring, the Tecnam P2008 JC Illustrated Parts Catalogue is the reference that turns a description of a part into an orderable number for the exact aircraft in front of you.
